The NIFA Annual Business Meeting will be held on Saturday, May 16th at XX:XX
The Annual Business Meeting is led by the NIFA Council Chair (or designee) and NIFA Student Representative(s). All NIFA Member Schools are welcome to attend, regardless of National SAFECON qualification status. Details of the meeting are specified in the NIFA Bylaws, Section 13. Each institutional member shall have 5 votes, to be split as they see fit. A typical agenda includes items such as:

The Annual Captains’ Meeting typically follows the Annual Business Meeting. The meeting is led by the NIFA Council Student Representatives and is for competitors ONLY. Coaches, Advisors, and any other NIFA personnel will be asked to vacate the meeting space. The Captains’ Meeting is a place for teams to connect and review the week. The Student Representatives can choose to provide membership’s input, both positive and negative, to the NIFA Council, for consideration in future planning. NIFA Council welcomes the input and strives to best serve the membership.
