After an affirmative RSVP has been submitted via the Invitation Info page above, the following 3 step registration process must be completed by each team competing at SAFECON 2026. Please read the instructions carefully and complete the steps in order.
The deadline to register all contestants, coaches, and advisors is Saturday, April 18, 2026.
This allows the minimum time needed for NIFA to confirm headcounts to vendors, finalize an aircraft parking plan, order materials, print ID badges, and finalize the official SAFECON program.
This year’s SAFECON registration fee has been reduced to $95 per contestant, coach, or advisor, thanks to Visit Quad Cities for their generous host sponsorship. Registration includes access to all SAFECON 2026 events - including ability to compete in each event (as permitted by the NIFA Red Book and Bylaws), as well as sponsored meal and social events throughout the week. Registration also includes a welcome bag and ticket to the Awards Banquet.

Certain information must be collected from each team prior to SAFECON. One Coach or Advisor per team must fill out the following form to submit items such as team picture (for the official program), estimated arrival date, competing aircraft, insurance paperwork, etc.
